Types of Plywood and Blockboards in Detail 

Commercial and Marine Plywood –  Commercial Ply generally refers to MR grade [ Moisture Ristiast Grade ]  Marine Ply is a completely waterproof ply that has been specifically manufactured for marine applications.

Block Board –  Blockboards are made in Moisture resistance and boiling waterproof grade made of core wood and placed edge to edge between two layers of plywood which are later glued together under high pressure. Pine Blackboards is a premium quality board with high resistance property against borer and termite attacks.

 Flexi Plywood – Flexible Plywood is very flexible and is designed for making curved parts, it is also Often referred to as “ Bendy Ply “ due to its flexibility. Generally available in 6 mm, 8 mm, and 12 mm thickness and only one dimension 2.44 m x 1.22 m.

Birch Plywood – This is a popular fine–grained wood, It is a company used for cabinet making, Desks, and shelves. Birch Plywood has a good aesthetic advantage for home furnishings as it has a nice, rich and it gives the end product a nice elegant finish.   Birch Plywood also allows you to customize the end product and can leave it to have it polished.

Finger Joint Plywood –  A  Finger Joint Plywood is a woodworking joint made by acting as a set of complementary, interlocking profiles in two pieces of wood which are then glued. The cross-section of the joint is the interlocking of fingers between two hands. Hence named finger joint Plywood. It consists of a variety of pinewood, rubberwood, and teakwood sheets.

Pinewood Plywood  –  Pinewood is an attractive and decorative ply with high-grade rotary cut faces and a solid core. Pinewood is good in aesthetic appearance for furniture, decorative paneling, and cladding.

                                                       

Rubberwood Finger Joint Plywood –  Finger Joint Solid wood is made from treated rubber wood which is kiln finger jointed, edge glued, cold and to make sheets of ready-to-use panel boards.

PreLaminated Plywood – Pre-laminated are glued over Plywood to form protective and decorative surfaces. Plywood that has been finished by adding a decorative surface is termed laminated plywood or pre-laminated Plywood.
